Askr draws substantial visual inspiration from Quartz and adapts selected styling ideas to Quarto; the precise sources and modification record are in the third-party source list.

Quartz supplied design reference rather than a runtime dependency. Schibsted Grotesk, Source Sans 3, and IBM Plex Mono are bundled locally under their SIL Open Font Licenses. Source Sans 3 is the intentional version-pinned Source Sans Pro successor adaptation for body text; Schibsted Grotesk owns titles and navigation UI. Lucide icons are bundled locally under its ISC license and Feather-derived MIT notices. Askr’s own source is MIT licensed; that does not replace any of these third-party terms.
